Remodel Design
We re-model from the ground up.
Sometimes the hardest part of making the decision to remodel is having a vision of what is possible. When you live in a space for many years it is often difficult to see past your existing spaces to the amazing possibilities.
KCS Design can help you maximize your living space, or even expand it. We listen to all of your wants and needs for how you will live in the newly remodeled home, and then, taking your budget into consideration, present you with floor plans for each space being changed.
Once a footprint has been determined, we start to flesh out the rooms. We work with you to create a color palette and finish schedule that reflects your style. We provide cabinet drawings, color boards, and finish samples to help you visualize how the new spaces will look and feel.
All of this is done before construction begins. With all of the decisions made, you now have a bid packet that includes construction plans, cabinet drawings and dimensions, finish schedule and any other details needed to give you an accurate idea of the overall costs. You can then use that bid packet to get comparable estimates from multiple contractors, ensuring you are spending your dollars carefully. We recognize the importance of staying within budget, while still producing an exceptional end product.
Interior Design
We design from the floor up.
Finding exactly the right people to help with the Interior Design of your home is very important. When you decide to make an investment, you want to know that the return will be within budget, but also that your vision of the finished product is understood and honored.
KCS Design will work with you to create beautiful, updated spaces that respect the style of your home. We will provide color boards that have options for fabrics, furnishings, art, accessories, area rugs and lighting.
Your spaces should reflect who you are, and how you live. Helping you live better in the home you have is something KCS Interior Design very passionate about.
Construction Design
We build from the foundation up.
Building a new home can be overwhelming if you don’t have a good guide. Our goal is to make the new home construction process effortless and fun. There are so many decisions to be made, and KCS Design can take you through each one so that the finished new home reflects YOU.
We take the time to get to know you. We ask (seemingly) endless questions about your wants and needs, and how you plan to use the spaces in your new home.
Carefully listening to your vision, and using visual aids to support concepts, allows us to quickly zero in on the style and feel that you are striving for.
By providing a timeline and budget outline, we help you spend carefully while making selections that will result in functional, beautiful spaces. A specification book is then created which documents all of the decisions and finish schedules, and helps ensure everyone is on the same page.
Once the planning is through, KCS Design meets with the general contractors throughout the project to ensure any changes are confirmed, all finishes are accurate, and that the project is keeping to its budget and timeline.
Having a detail oriented team that is dedicated to YOUR success and satisfaction is invaluable. Making all of the building’s structural decisions, and the interior design decisions, before breaking ground will save money, as well as helping avoid delays over the course of the project.
